We meet with you to ascertain your vision and requirements for your family needs. With a fresh perspective, we present assorted options for your consideration. We meet with you to present and discuss the drawings. Once you have extrapolated your preferences from the assorted layouts, we go back to the drawing board to put it together a ‘final drawing’ which, if necessary, you can then take along to an architect to have it added to your plan or we can arrange to have this done for you.

Step 1: We identify the Concern / problem areas:
The client had already engaged an architect to add a braai / pool room on to the plan, calling it the FAMILY AREA.
the Front Entrance led into a small hall area which stepped down into a sunken lounge. The lounge stepped up into the dinning area.
Kitchen is closed off to dining area – not open plan.
Lobby @ kitchen area has a storage cupboard restricting flow to lounge.
Sunken lounge also prohibits the natural flow.

- New dbl volume entrance created through the lobby area.
- Utility cupboard moved to previous front entrance hall area leading onto the main bedroom.
- Old lounge becomes dinning area or 2nd lounge. Large stacker door to open onto new undercover verandah.
- Family area is extended by 1 m to accomodate a singel door which leads to a laundry.

- New lounge floor extended to allow for a single door to lead onto back garden area
